Family Swim

  • Saturdays: 12:30pm-3:00pm. Moms & Dads: Bring your little swimmer to the pool and jump in, too! This is a great way to spend quality time with your child, and allows them to show off their new swimming skills (while they also practice them)! Both pools are available during this time. (The big pool opens at approximately 12:45, after our Masters workout). Family swim is exclusively open our swim academy students. Parents of a registered swim student may swim at no cost. Siblings of registered students may also swim, but each child in the pool must have a parent in the water. ($5 daily pass for non-member siblings).

The Trident Aquatics Club is home to Waves Swim AcademyTrident Aquatics Competitive Swim Team and the TRIDENT WAVE recreational team. Our mission is to make a profound difference in lives through swimming. We are committed to instilling water safety education and skills, and leading a world class aquatics developmental continuum.  Our club is member-based, and is dedicated to people who love the water.
There are very good swim schools. There are highly successful swim teams. Few programs around the country are positioned to provide a complete aquatics continuum that begins with a child's first swim lesson and culminates with a national team position, swimming on scholarship at the NCAA level and even the Olympics. Waves Swim Academy and Trident Aquatics, together, provide a comprehensive, results-driven aquatics continuum. Our mission is to teach swimming, but through a methodology and culture that instills countless life skills development while also maximizing the amazing benefits that come from success in our great sport. Every lesson, class, clinic and swim practice is carefully designed to position our swimmers for success as they elevate through each level in swimming.

And for adults...Trident offers open lap swimming sessions on a daily basis, adult swim lessons, swimming training for triathletes and a U.S. Masters team. Two separate pools provide for purpose-built water temperature, depth and features to provide outstanding versatility and world-class technology.

Our mission is to instill a lifetime of swimming benefits, beginning with water safety, building confidence, teaching stroke skills and ultimately, competitive performance. We thrive on getting results. Since 2014, Trident swimmers have earned dozens of state championships, national and world rankings, collegiate scholarships. In 2021, Patrick Callan became Trident's 1st Olympian. Patrick competed in the Tokyo Olympics in the 4x200 Freestyle Relay for the USA!

Unique to Trident, our swim school has three key aspects to our curriculum, and a proven track record: 1) safety 2) relevant skill progress and 3) deliberate focus on helping young swimmers advance towards our swim team with every lesson. Our instructors want every swimmer to have fun in the water, but we are also insistent that every lesson is meaningful and advances every student towards higher and higher levels.
